Welcome to Year 1
We have 30 hard working pupils who love coming to school. We have lots of fun and we love a challenge.
Our teaching team consists of Mrs Meldrum and Mrs Hunter. Mrs Hunter is in class Monday and Tuesday and Mrs Meldrum Wednesday to Friday. We also have Mrs Potter and Miss Moan our amazing teaching assistant.
Hi! I’m Mrs Meldrum and I am looking forward to teaching Year 1 this year and watching the children grow in knowledge and confidence. When I am not at school I love spending time with my own family – you will often see me at the beach or the park with my own two children.
Hi! I’m Mrs Hunter and I love working in Year 1. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and having lots of fun this year.
Hi, my name is Mrs Potter and I’m looking forward to working in Year 1 this year. I know you all well from our time together in Reception. I love long walks and spending time with my dog.
Hello, my name is Miss Moan and I work in Year 1. I love working in Year 1 and I am always excited for a new challenge.
