Year 6 were very lucky to have the opportunity to visit the New Wear Crossing site. They learned a lot about the construction of the new bridge with a focus on jobs and skills needed. As well as this, they had a chance to go onto the viewing platform and watch the work take place. It was a great afternoon (apart from the rain!)
