Hello and welcome to the Year 6 team!
Our teachers are Miss Abernethy and Mr Dobson with Miss Hill as our brilliant teaching assistant. We do all sorts of different activities in our class so we have the chance to learn lots of different things. We work hard (staff and children) to make sure that we are really successful in our final year at primary school.
Hi! I’m Miss Abernethy and I teach Year 6. I’m a huge fan of maths as I’ve always loved this subject even when I was a child. When I’m not enjoying teaching, I love spending time outdoors or burying my head in a good book. If I get a spare moment, I also like going to the theatre or cinema.
Hi! I’m Mr Dobson. I’m from Crewe, which is a small town near Manchester. I am a new dad and my son (Ben) is six months old. I’ve been a teacher for 9 years, and I started off as an English teacher in China. I enjoy all sorts of things, which is why I like being a primary teacher. I particularly enjoy art, music and sport.
Hi! My name is Miss Hill. I enjoy taking my dog on walks with my daughter as well as listening to music . When I’m not at work I like to spend time having fun with my family and friends.
