In Year 5 our class author is ‘Vesti Hardy’. Our class novel, which we will be reading together, is ‘Brightstorm’.
Autumn Term
During the Autumn Term our overall topic is Mexico.
In science we will be learning about ‘forces’ and ‘Earth and space’. In R.E our focus is ‘Sikhism and Christianity’. Our geography topic is Mexico. In history we will be learning all about ‘shipbuilding in the the local area’. Our artist this term is ‘Monet’. In D.T. the children will be making their own purse or wallet. Our P.E lessons will be athletics and swimming. Our I.C.T focus this term are ‘E-safety and Coding.’
We have a trip booked for December 11th to the Beacon of Light. More information to follow.
Also we hope to be able to organise a trip the ‘The Centre for Life’
