This week year 3 went on a trip to the Oriental Museum to learn about Ancient Egypt as a part of our topic. We were able to hold Ancient Egyptian artefacts whilst learning what they were used for. After we spilt into group to take part in a variety of activities. One of the activities we dressed up as Ancient Egyptians and in another we were trying to crack codes wrote in hieroglyphic. Next we went and seen a really mummy and learnt about mummification. Then the class had to mummify one of their own.
Everyone enjoyed the whole trip and learnt a lot about the Ancient Egyptians.
